"Fall Ball" registration now open for Boys and Girls!!

PSL is proud to announce our 2009 Fall Ball instructional and scrimmage sessions for Boys and Girls!  Sessions will be held on Sundays at Cook School Field in USC beginning September 20th through October 25th.   Each session will focus on improving stick and individual player skills (shooting, dodging, defense, ground balls, etc.) as well as 7v7, full-field team strategy and scrimmages at each session.  Boys 7th/8th will participate in the Robert Morris University's "BigShot 7v7 Tournament".  We are planning to hold end-of-season scrimmages with PYLAX for boys and girls in all 3rd-8th grade groups.  All sessions will be conducted by experienced coaches.
 
Boys 7th and 8th grade - five two-hour sessions held at Cook School field in USC from 8:00am - 10:00am.  Boys 7th/8th team rosters will be formed from the clinic attendees and season will conclude with those teams playing in the RMU "BigShot 7v7" tournament on Saturday, October 24th.  
Cost: $165.00 per player (includes RMU tourney fee).
 
Boys 4th, 5th and 6th grade - six two-hour sessions to be held at Cook School field in USC from 10:00am - 12:00pm.         Cost: $125.00
 
Girls 7th and 8th grade - six two-hour sessions held at Boyce MS field from 10:00am - 12:00pm           Cost: $125.00
 
Girls 3rd - 6th grade - six two-hour sessions held at Boyce MS field 12:00pm - 2:00pm.             Cost: $125.00

A valid US Lacrosse membership is required to register for PSL Fall Ball sessions listed above.  Full equipment is required for boys (stick, helmet, armpads, shoulderpads, gloves, mouthguard, and protective cup) and for girls (stick, goggles, mouthguard). 

Introduction to Lacrosse (sticks only w/soft lax balls - no other equipment required!)- for Boys and Girls in K - 3rd grade - four 75 minute sessions (Sept 20, 27, Oct 4, 11) held at Cook School field in USC from 10:00am - 11:15pm.     

Cost: $75.00 (starter sticks can be purchased at first session for $30.00).

Pittsburgh Select Lacrosse offers seasonal travel teams for boys in high school, middle school and elementary school levels and for girls at the high school and, in future seasons, to girls at the middle school and elementary school levels. The club’s focus is to offer well-organized and expertly coached lacrosse teams and educational activities designed to assist young players in developing and refining both individual and team skills in the game of lacrosse.
