Jenn Gustin is currently Franklin Regional's Varsity Girls Head Coach. In addition Jenn has coached for PYLAX, Pittsburgh Youth Lacrosse during their 2008 Season and helped develop PYLAX’s first season of organized girls' lacrosse ages 9-13 (5th grade – 8th grade). She coached the 7th and 8th grade team through their first competitive season. Jenn coached for Baldwinsville Lacrosse Booster Club, Syracuse, NY December 2000 though December 2001. She was an instructor for the skills camp with girls ranging from modified to Varsity level. Jenn's playing experince includes being recruited on scholarship to Duquesne University’s Atlantic 10 Woman’s Lacrosse team and was a four-time Atlantic 10 finalist. High School, Baldwinsville, NY: Three-year member of the Empire State Central New York (CNY) team, Member of the Central New York Elite Club team in 1999 and 2000, NY State champion in 2000, NY State runner-up in 1999. Jenn was also named to the 2000 ‘National School Girls Team’ and to the 1999 ‘New York State Team A’ squad, All-CNY team. Joe Ahearn has been coaching girls’ lacrosse for over 15 years. After coaching an elite girls club in Baltimore, Maryland for several years he relocated to Pittsburgh in 1998. Upon arrival, he recruited and coached a Pittsburgh All Star team that enjoyed great success in the Women's Lacrosse National Festival held in Troy, NY. Among the roster were future recruits to the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, Boston College, and Duquesne University. Since then, Joe has focused on developing girls’ lacrosse in Western Pennsylvania and was one of the three original founders of Intrepid Lacrosse. Joe then coached the highly successful Middle School and 2012 Intrepid Girls Lacrosse teams for three years. In 2009, Joe joined Pittsburgh Select Lacrosse to create the Inaugural Elite Girls Team to benefit those players with the talent and commitment to play at the highest level and who intend to play in college. He has also coached the Sewickley Academy Varsity Girls during the winter 3RL league since 2002. Brian Klisavage is the head coach at Seton-LaSalle Catholic High School. He has been teaching and coaching girls lacrosse at Seton-LaSalle for ten years. Brian was named the 2007 WPIAL Coach of the Year. Stacie Pollock is currently Franklin Regional's Assistant Varsity Girls Coach along side Jenn Gustin. Stacie has stayed involved in teaching lacrosse since graduation as an instructor for skills camp with girls ranging from modified to Varsity level. Stacie’s playing experience includes being recruited on scholarship to Duquesne University’s Atlantic 10 Woman’s Lacrosse team as a four year starter and championship qualifier multiple times. She has made Atlantic -10 conference teams as well as the western region All Regional team. Her main focus being defense, Stacie created statistical benchmarks at Duquesne University including 4th in groundballs and 7th in caused turnovers in her career. In the NCAA Stacie ended up 18th in ground balls and 9th in caused turnovers upon graduation. As a high school player Stacie was a 4 year member of Unionville High School Girls Lacrosse team, Kennett Square, Pa, 2002 state runner up, 2003-2005 Pa Express team member, 2000-2004 SEPA Lacrosse member. Stacie was also a high school All –American. Gary DeCock is the Owner and General Manager ofPittsburgh Select. Gary grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and played lacrosse at Conestoga HS. He went on to play attack and midfield for Penn State’s Division I Varsity lacrosse team in the early ‘80’s. After graduation he played for several years with the Atlantaand Charlotte lacrosse clubs. In 1988 and 1989 he was Head Coach ofVanderbilt University’s Mens Lacrosse team capturing SELC championshipsin both years. Gary has coached lacrosse at all levels over the pasttwenty years most recently starting the Elementary Boys (K-4) team atUpper Saint Clair with over 65 players participating in its’ premierseason and 80 in its' second season. He also helped to start the USCMS Girls program with 54 3rd through 6th grade girls playing in theirinaugural 2009 Spring seaons. Gary has coached with the USC middleschool program in 2005 - 2007 and has conducted many lacrosse camps andclinics for both boys and girls in the Pittsburgh area. He also servesas the current VP for WPYLA and is the Boys Youth BOD member for thePittsburgh Chapter of US Lacrosse. Gary's father played lacrosse atJohns Hopkins in the 1940's which makes his two childrenthird-generation lacrosse players (no pressure, kids!)
