Sam Happel – Hampton HS Asst Coach

Lee Davis began playing at Age 12 in Melbourne, Australia. While playing in Australia Lee won 5 state titles and 3 national titles, scoring over 500 points in his junior career spanning 6 years. In his late teens Lee began to research playing Lacrosse in the US, and was lucky to make some valuable contacts through his years of lacrosse in Australia. One of those contacts eventually put him in touch with Coach Bear Davis (Current Robert Morris Head Coach). After months of contact with Coach Davis, Lee decided Robert Morris was the university for him. Lee played 3 years for the Colonials, he lettered in each of his 3 years and was a regular contributor on the 1st and 2nd Midfield lines. Lee is currently coaching the Robert Morris Club Lacrosse team and completing his Masters Degree in Business.
Ian McConnell is the Varsity Head Coach at Trinity HS in Washington, PA. He is a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Business Management Degree with a focus in Professional Communications. Ian played both Attack and Midfield for Trinity HS and for WJU. This will be Ian's third season coaching with Pittsburgh Select.
Mike Leiendecker played HS lacrosse at Central Catholic at both defense and midfield positions. He went on to play at St. Vincent College on a lacrosse scholarship winning nearly 70% of his face-offs in his senior season. Mike is currently an assistant coach at Central Catholic Varsity squad and has been an assistant for Pittsburgh Select for two seasons. Mike holds a B.A in Liberal Arts from SVC. Bill Leiendecker is a local Pittsburgh lacrosse product having played at Central Catholic HS, lettering three years and was a two-year captain. Bill played DIII lacrosse at St. Vincent College as a four year starter and two-year captain at Attack and Midfield. He also played Junior 'A' Box Lacrosse for the Port Coquitlam Saints of the British Columbia Lacrosse Association in the summer of 2004. Bill has a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Sociology from St. Vincent College and is currently an assistant coach at Central Catholic HS.
John Wilson played his high school lacrosse at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and continued his playing career at Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, John was a three year starter in goal, was senior captain, and was instrumental in the formation of the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference. Locally, he spent seven years at Fox Chapel High School as both an assistant and Head Varsity boys lacrosse coach. John is an independent TV producer and also assists at Pittsburgh Youth Lacrosse where his son, Cooper, is learning how painful and wonderful being a goalie can be.
